This role in HIS is to support the Primary Care team with centralised data collection processes from both Primary Care clinical systems (EMIS Web and SystmOne) Acting as a source of support to LHIS, ICB, non-SLA Customers and GP practice staff requiring analytical support with primary care, community care-related data and other information requirements. Ensuring ICBs and practices are supported in producing and delivering accurate data of the highest quality whenever statistical returns and performance indicators require data sourced from primary care systems, including good clinical coding. To support the Primary Care IM&T Facilitators in ensuring LHIS and LPT Trust standards and values deliver client service. To support the Primary Care IM&T facilitators with documenting technical specifications.

To support the Primary Care IM&T facilitators with documenting technical specifications. The role will be pivotal in providing administration support to the team. To be influential within the organisation and provide detailed advice to others internally and externally within the organisation, within their sphere of competence. To work collaboratively with other LHIS staff and clients as appropriate.

Act as a source of support for LHIS, ICB and GP practice staff requiring analytical support with primary care-related data and other information entered in electronic patient records to ensure safe and accurate clinical records are produced. Ensure practices are supported in producing and delivering accurate data of the highest quality whenever statistical returns and performance indicators require data sourced from primary care systems, including good clinical coding. Update, maintain, organise, and gather information from the clinical system to provide current/historical activity data and predict/meet future organisational and team needs or areas of development. Build safe, user-friendly, appropriate clinical data entry templates within SystmOne for the implementation team and practice staff and support users in correctly using such templates after sign-off.

Deliver training with advice and guidance from IM&T Facilitators.Support GP practice staff on clinical IT systems aligned with LHIS and its partner organisations, objectives, and guidance to produce appropriate work plans or training materials to assist in this area. Organise and deliver regular introductory training sessions explaining how to use the resources built by LHIS, outlining how they fit in with the local and national specifications and services the practices have signed up for. Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation as the Senior Project Manager directs by providing high-quality support, including complex information and analysis, communications, and stakeholder management. Ensure accurate and open communication and coordination with various organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and managing specific tasks, reporting and analysis across multiple specialities, functions, and projects.

The post holder will be required to act on behalf of practices to retrieve information for regular audits, claims and incentive schemes requested by several organisationsfollowing the data holders' approval. These audits will provide practices with areas of strength and weakness in data capture methods. The post holder will be responsible for delicately advising practices so as not to allocate blame but open channels to investigate the results of the audits, as audit results may determine funding payable to practices. The post holder will extract complex data from the front end of clinical systems and analyse the data output for ICBs to validate payments for practices.
