**Senior Web Developer**
**Salary**: 36k to 40k per annum, dependant on experience

**The Vacancy**
Central Office staff work closely with schools, offering a wealth of expertise to underpin schools’ own knowledge. Our specialist departments, including HR, finance, technology, strategy and performance, estates, and marketing, work alongside dedicated schoolimprovement teams. By joining us, you will provide ongoing support to schools, ultimately improving the outcomes of our pupils.

**The role**:

It’s essential that United Learning’s websites and those of its schools are vital, dynamic and relevant if we areto serve our communities, attract the best staff and successfully celebrate the achievements of the children.

In this role you will work alongside the web development manager and a team of junior developers and support staff. You’ll be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the group content management system based on Microsoft technology, aswell as working on a wide variety of projects and websites for our central office and over 90 schools across the Group.

You must have demonstrable software development experience in:

- DNN (or equivalent CMS)
- ASP.NET MVC
- C# (or similar language)
- HTML
- JavaScript
- CSS

It is desirable but not essential that you have worked with:

- Microsoft SQL Server
- Linq
- jQuery
- Blazor
- Net Core

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with staff at schools and central office to understand requirements for new and existing websites
- Analyse requirements for new websites or new/ modified features in existing websites
- Provide third-line support to end users of the CMS
- Provide mentoring and support for junior team members
- Create and maintain documentation of developed software and processes
- Engage in professional development to broaden skillset
