The Alwaleed Centre for the Study of Islam in the Contemporary World at the University of Edinburgh seeks to appoint an Outreach and Projects Coordinator to commence on 1 August 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.

**The Opportunity:
This is a unique and exciting role in a dynamic research centre working with a variety of partners and stakeholders from within and beyond the University of Edinburgh.

The is a part-time role (21 hours per week) and is fixed term for a period of 22 months. The role combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

**Your skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with partners and stakeholders in a variety of academic and non-academic environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, positive, friendly approach and a proactive team player
