**Metalis are proud to be working with a fantastic and prestigious client in Sheffield, who are leaders and experts in the production of Steel and Engineering. Working with Steel Forgings and castings within a Heavy Engineering environment, they provideglobally for a range of industries from Defence and Marine, Offshore, Power Generation, Civil Nuclear and more.**
**As a frontend Ancillary you will work as part of a team to assist the moulders to create moulds ready for casting, you will be involved in the casting process and be expected to dig and sling small to large castings ready for the burners to burn.**
**Shifts**:
Working 37 hours per week, there are two shift patterns available -- Perm Days and Afternoons
- Perm Nights
**Sal ary**:
- Dependant on shift pattern, salary is between £12.29 and £13.09 with potential to rise to £16.26
- Salary is inclusive of shift allowance (8%)
**Duties**:
- Slinging small and large castings and various other items
- Sand mill operating for the moulders
- General plant equipment driving to assist moulders and dig pits
- Burning work to assist moulders
- Casting duties
- Overhead crane driving and pendant crane driving
- Working at height and being able to do so safely
- General manual handling tasks to assist moulders
- Assist the burners as and when needed
