Assist with provision of administrative and planning support to the Planner Supervisor, Planners, and other Operations teams within Homes and Places as required, including the administration of the call-out process for Operations teams.
- Support Planner team with the co-ordination of resources, trade teams, contractors, other staff and materials, addressing any conflicting objectives, ensuring the right number of people with the right skills are in place to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure that all works, projects and inspections are effectively scheduled to maximise the efficient use of resources and improve productivity.
- Update and maintain CHP records/information systems in line with data protection requirements, to ensure accurate and easily accessible data and attend update meetings as required.
- Ensure that the highest possible standard of service is provided at all times to internal and external customers.
- Liaise with Supervisors and colleagues to contribute to implementing customer focussed business procedures / processes which ensure accurate / efficient work planning, administrative and support services, and eliminate any non-value activities for Operational teams.
- Use your understanding of IT systems to support scheduling and completion of in-house works.
- Assist with answer queries and maintain presence on the touchpoint telephony system.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Planner Supervisor in relation to service delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a range of Operations-related projects and activities to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), provide team cover, drive VfM and achieve continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the performance of the team and the directorate by positively participating in team meetings and proactively identifying opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
- Attend college to gain relevant qualification NVQ level 2 or 3.
- Undertake any other responsibilities relevant to this post, as directed by your line manager.
