**What you’ll be doing**

We have a new permanent opportunity ready to suit an innovative **Collections Improvements Specialist** to work with Thames Water to identify and define opportunities for improvement and deliver change successfully to people, processes and technology.

Being the **Collections Improvements Specialist** in this position, will see you working closely with an agile product team, ensuring that technical solutions meet the business needs and that thorough testing takes place mitigating any adverse impact on our customers, or finances.

Main accountabilities incorporate;
- Ability to effectively engage and work with multiple stakeholder groups and build trusted relationships
- Be adept at influencing stakeholders and managing relationships effectively, build strong relationships and convey clearly and consistently with stakeholders, describing real world business goals and how to achieve them
- Ability to prioritise your workload based on business needs and value.
- Accountable for ensuring that you and the team are being used appropriately across change initiatives by aligning stakeholders’ expectations and the team’s efforts by agreeing a clear prioritisation.
- Promote the solution of initiatives: Listen to end users and interpret what they say, ensure requirements are clearly defined and prioritised
- Provide the Delivery Team with problem statements and work with the team to create the most suitable solution to the problem and that the end product meets the business needs
- Demonstrate progress by measuring the business value created.

**What you should bring to the role**

The suitable **Collections Improvements Specialist** will be experienced with Stakeholder Management, taking a customer-centred approach and working closely with business areas on the business issues, guiding and positively challenging preconceptions.
- Tenacity throughout an entire project life cycle from Solutioning (Definition & Design) through to project closure
- The ability to elicit requirements using interviews, analysis, requirements sessions, use cases, scenarios, tasks, and workflow analysis
- Experience of continuous improvement delivery and experience in delivering in cross functional teams
- The ability to rapidly understand the business needs and environments, future trends, opportunities and constraints in any business domain
- Well versed in the use of MS Excel and PowerPoint and with the use of MS DevOps is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge and understanding of core Thames Water Systems SAP ISU, SAP C4C is desirable

This is a permanent position, offering from £35,000 to 45,000 per annum dependent on knowledge and experience.
