Johnsons Hotel Linen, a trading division of the Johnson Service Group Plc is looking to recruit an apprentice administrator based at our Head Office in Preston Brook, near Warrington.

Both Finance and Procurement functions of Johnsons Hotel Linen are located at the Head Office, creating a diverse environment with opportunity to develop wider business and cross functional experience.

This role would primarily cover 3 areas of support within the remit of the Divisional Finance Director; data integrity activities for the nationally used Laundry Management System under the supervision of the Commercial Accountant, support to Linen and other purchasing activities under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager and general office administration under the supervision of the Finance Manager.

The role requires routine collaboration within the local team, Customer Service and other staff across the national sites and will involve interaction with current, prospective and former customers, suppliers and employees.

The role is primarily office based, although occasional working from home can be accommodated. The standard office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday with half hour break. This would equate to 37.5 hours per week and 6 hours per week off the job training would be accommodated within these hours.

Parking is available at the office which is a 20-minute walk from Runcorn East rail station and on a bus route between Warrington and Runcorn.

**Salary**:
Starting salary would be age appropriate National Minimum Wage:

- Under 18: £4.81
- 18 -20: £6.83
- 21 -22: £9.18
- 23 and over: £9.50

**Job Description - Key Activities**:
**Laundry Management System Data Integrity**:

- Data audit with focus on key reporting fields fully completed with valid data, including but not limited to:

- Active / Inactive Dates.
- New Products.
- Customer Chain.
- Non-Standard Price Lists.
- Market Segments.
- Customer contract data.
- Number of Hotel Rooms.
- Customer References and legacy information.
- Special Charges.
- Liaise with relevant sites for anomalies, follow up and ensure corrections have been processed.
- Run routine Business Intelligence reports to support Key Performance Indicators and other reports.
- Upload information to the Business Intelligence system.
- Process Price Increases.

**Procurement Administration**:

- Collate stock sheet information from key suppliers on a weekly basis.
- Input supplier stocks information into Linen Ordering Database.
- Place approved purchase orders with suppliers.
- Follow up and expedite orders where required.

**General Office Administration**
- Answer phone calls and help caller or redirect as appropriate.
- Open post received to the office and distribute.
- Liaise will intended recipients at other sites in respect of misdirected deliveries.
- Order and manage general office supplies, including stationery, printing consumables etc.
- Cover as required answering the doorbell and welcome visitors to Johnsons Hotel Linen Head Office.
- Provide support to finance team to chase up missing / late information from sites.

**Requirements of all roles**
- Alert Manager to any serious issues which arise which might require involvement of Managers or Directors.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Finance Director, Commercial Accountant, Purchasing Manager or Finance Manager, including those related to ad hoc events or projects that may occur or cover for absence.
