Key Responsibilities:

- **Student Support**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and strategies to address specific learning goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- **Classroom Assistance**:

- Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources.
- Support teachers during lessons, ensuring the inclusion of all students in class activities.
- **Behavioral Support**:

- Implement behavior management strategies in collaboration with the school's policies.
- Monitor and address behavioral issues, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and behavior.
- **Inclusive Education**:

- Work closely with the Inclusion Coordinator to promote an inclusive approach to learning.
- Attend relevant training sessions to enhance understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
- Advocate for the needs of students with diverse learning requirements.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:

- Assist in assessing student progress, noting achievements, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student development and achievements.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in regular meetings with teachers, special education staff, and other support personnel.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive school community.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
