**We are looking for an experienced Freight Supervisor to join a leading freight company based in Portsmouth.** **The Freight Supervisor position is a permanent and full-time role, working 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday. This also comes with a negotiable salary of up to £42,000 per annum**

**As a Freight Supervisor you would be responsible for**:

- Leading and managing the freight forwarding team
- Accountability of up to 8 staff
- Monitoring the operations team and their performance
- Providing a high level of training and support to your team
- Focusing on providing excellent customer service to existing and new clients
- Support the sales and commercial team in identifying new clients and products
- Implementing a KPI system for your team to improve performance

**To be successful as a Freight Supervisor, you will need**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Great organisation skills
- Competency with various IT systems
- Experience in working towards deadlines
- Experience as a manager or supervisor in a freight or logistic sector.
