**Job description**:
SLC has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Advisor to join our Change Function. It’s the responsibility of the Advisor to work closely with the project and impacted stakeholders to analyse the learning needs. The Learning Advisor will then design an impactful learning solution, develop the appropriate materials and deliver this learning to staff impacted by the changes being implemented in the deployments of new functionality, policy and/or process. Subsequently, the Advisor will determine and document the success of the programme of learning, and from that, the wider team and function can take lessons learned and actively demonstrate SLC’s commitment to continuous improvement.

**SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.**

**Person specification**:
**What you bring**:

- Experience of successful learning design and delivery through a combination of face-to-face (virtual and in-person), online and communications modes.
- Ability to carry out learning gap analysis, identifying learning needs, the appropriate learning solutions for varied audiences and commit to the recommendation of that solution
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience of building effective working relationships, negotiation and risk management.
- Experience in measuring impact of learning initiatives, drawing conclusions and implementing lessons learned.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of E-Learning authoring (Articulate 360)
- Strong personal resilience
- A knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
- A high degree of personal adaptability and flexibility.
