As a member of the local finance team, you will be involved with a wide variety of tasks. These will range from invoice related work, billing, debtor/creditor reporting and management, through to P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, VAT, prepayment,and project work.
- Assist in the management of all Invoice cycle activities taking the lead on ensuring correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure timely receipt of payments
- Coordinate and manage Debtor and Creditor reporting and all follow up actions
- Undertake cash management activities for multiple entities
- Assist with Month End activities analysis and review
- Perform Balance sheet reconciliations and provide commentary for central finance teams
- Build key business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create efficiencies in problem solving
- Provide support to Finance business partner with periodical financial analysis, variance analysis and review
- Assist in production of weekly and monthly MI packs, commentary & analysis
- Assist in production of quarterly VAT returns
- Support with quarterly Fixed Assets review and assessment
- Aid all tasks with Audit preparation, questions, and requests
- Be involved with Ad hoc Projects/Requests

**What you'll need to succeed
** Previous working experience in finance and as Accounts Assistant for 2+ years or related role(s)
- Experience with using SAP, MS Excel, MS Office, and other systems
- Be able to demonstrate high Levels of Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Problem solver with a "can do" attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in handling multiple stakeholders with client-cantered approach
- Outstanding relationship-builder, both internally and externally
- Studying in AAT (final levels), CIMA, ACCA (beginner levels) - not mandatory
- Ability to maintain own continual professional development
