As a key player in the utilities sector, we are committed to excellence and are currently seeking a Hire Controller to join our team.

As a Hire Controller at IES Utilities Group, you will be responsible for the efficient coordination and management of our equipment and vehicle hire operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

- **Equipment Coordination**: Booking and coordinating the use of vehicles, equipment, and tools for various utility projects.
- **Customer Relations**: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their equipment needs are met promptly and professionally.
- **Scheduling and Logistics**: Efficiently managing equipment scheduling and logistics to meet project requirements.
- **Documentation and Records**: Maintaining accurate records of equipment availability, utilization, and maintenance.
- **Vendor and Supplier Interaction**: Liaising with suppliers and vendors to secure equipment and negotiate terms.
- **Supporting Hire Team**: Collaborating with the hire team to optimize equipment and vehicle availability and utilization.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in equipment hires or logistics, preferably in the utilities or construction sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing software for equipment management and scheduling.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
