Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team. The Transportation Coordinator will conduct an operational role in the UK Transport Department, working with all operations departments. This position is an important and integral part of the logistics function. This role requires someone with a strong eye for detail, good computer literacy, and excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including the movement of goods
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise transportation routes and schedules
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including tracking shipments and updating databases
- Communicate with suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues or delays

**Skills**:

- Proficient computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Good understanding of developments in UK transport industry, and appropriate legislation (desirable but not essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £18,239.89-£33,858.91 per year
