Due to internal promotions DWF Law are currently recruiting for 2 e-billing specialists
You will be ensuring timely on-boarding of e-billing clients, submitting e-bills (approx. 1000 per month), resolving e-billing issues and providing reporting solutions. The role of the E-billing Specialist requires you to have a great eye for detail and an ability to resolve problems quickly.
**Main function of job**:
Working as part of the e-billing team to drive process standardisation, best practice techniques and right first time delivery. Performing end to end process & controls reviews.
Working closely with Fee Earners, Partners and other billing stakeholders ensuring all matter management and work in progress on client matters is reviewed, billed and completed effectively.
**Main Duties**:
- Proactively overseeing on-boarding process for existing and new clients switching to an e-billing solution
- Supporting the Senior Billing Manager to deliver the long-term objectives of the department, delivery against operational targets, business requirements and SLA’s
- Preparing e-bill files in LEDES and XML formats for portal submissions, with a clear understanding of requirements with manual submission of PDF files
- Dealing with submission errors, using own technical knowledge and liaising with fee earners, clients and third parties to resolve them
- Working closely with client partners and the wider billing team to ensure eBill submissions are created in an accurate & timely manner
- Working with e-billing portals including TyMetrix, Legal Tracker, Collaborati and Tungsten;
- Maintenance of matter and timekeeper data in external systems
- Co-ordination of the e-billing work stream through the dedicated inbox
- Maintaining a close understanding of Work in Progress and disbursement balances
- Supporting the management of certain billing mailboxes & queries via telephone adhering to SLA deadlines
- Building strong partnership with the business to support the Senior billing manager with monthly e-billing reviews with Client Partners
- Perform root cause analysis & drive recommendations for process & KPI improvements
**Core skills & experience required**:
- Billing experience is essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and ability to manage and prioritise own workload, meet targets and deadlines
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Proactive in work ethic and strives for continuous improvement
