A Business Support Administrator is needed for a temporary role, for approximately 10 months, to support the team in the delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Rural England Prosperity Fund (RPF).

Previous Admin experience in local government or similar is required for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and executing tasks for UKSPF-funded projects.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate the progress of specific projects under the UKSPF initiative.
- Manage project documentation, ensuring compliance with legal constraints and regulations.
- Aid in monitoring project budgets.
- Communicate project progress, outcomes, and insights.
- Support tender development and service procurement for UKSPF programme delivery.
- Organise and share information among internal departments, partners, and stakeholders.
- Research, compile, and distribute reports and presentations related to projects.
- Maintain online information platforms, including websites and social media, for the programme.
- Adhere to Data Protection and GDPR regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
- Undertake any additional tasks necessary to support the broader team, as directed.

**Qualifications**:

- A good standard of written English and Mathematics to at least GCSE C/ level 4 which can demonstrate an ability to work at this level or demonstrate relevant experience

**Skills & experience
**- Previous Admin experience in local government or similar
- Ability to build and manage effective relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Ability to collect, understand and interpret financial and other monitoring information
- Ability to communicate effectively face to face, over the telephone and in writing
- Ability to plan ahead / organise / prioritise, implement and deliver programme/project and work stream plans
- Ability to work on multi projects or with multi disciplined team
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload so that all projects receive equal support
- Experience in monitoring and performance measurement against key performance indicators
- Experience maintaining administrative and monitoring systems
- Experience in using online booking systems and social media
