**We are looking for a Nursery Admin Assistant to join our team.**

You will be supporting the Nursery Manager and management team at our popular children's day nursery. This is a temporary position, initially for 6 months but this could be extended.

We are Peterborough's newest nursery, based in a state-of-the-art building in Stanground. You will be supported in learning our admin systems and processes as you join our friendly.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Greeting parents and visitors at the door. Getting to know them and becoming a friendly and welcoming face.
- Answering basic queries from parents in person and on the phone.
- Answering the telephone.
- Helping to keep the nursery's files and online management system up to date.
- Administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, printing documents and filing paperwork.
- Supporting the management team with admin tasks as required.
- Keeping confidential all matters regarding staff, families and children.
- Be friendly, outgoing, confident and a team player.
- Be self-motivated.
- Be willing to learn the nursery's admin systems.
- Be proficient in basic IT skills such as using Microsoft Office.

This role is for 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
