We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Children and Young People's Emergency Medicine to join us at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in one of the largest single-site Major Trauma Centers in the UK.

Our ED has an attendance of 195,000 new patients each year, including 45,000 children, seen in a co-located Children and Young People's Emergency Department, which has recently expanded its resuscitation capability with a major capital investment. We also have a large academic and clinical skills area and a strong education and research ethos.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for children and young people's (CYP) emergency patients attending NUH ED under your care. This will include CYP major trauma patients and CYP patients requiring management in the resuscitation room ('resus').

You will be forward thinking and willing to work in a team as a role model and clinical leader alongside our multi-disciplinary workforce. Your experience, skills and knowledge will be used to think creatively, support others to develop to the best they can be and to be part of the vision to be a world-class center of excellence.
