**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Using the Cerner Millennium system extract appointment reminder data for future appointments.
- Print all outpatient appointment and reminder letters, ensuring that letters are printed in strict priority and have all necessary booklets and information leaflets.
- Ensure that all correspondence is sorted, enveloped and ready for dispatch by end of day.
- Ensure a complete audit trail is maintained by updating audit paperwork and Access Databases on all transactions.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail, use of computer and databases and spreadsheets.
- Previous administration experience.
- Previous NHS experience. (Desirable)
