A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide outstanding support to both our Senior Deputy Head (Academic) and our Deputy Head (Pastoral and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead) to join the school on a permanent and full time basis from 1 July 2024.

This is a full time all-year-round position and the core hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm during term time and 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday during school holidays. A degree of flexibility is required to suits the needs of the role. The role is full time and attracts 28 days annual leave, to be taken during school holidays only, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. In this role you are unlikely to be working with children directly but will regularly interact with pupils who may seek your assistance or otherwise interact with you when moving around the school.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a self-declaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.”
