**£25,000 - £26,000**

Our client, a leading service provider business in the southwest, is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Payroll Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The responsibilities:

- Accurately and efficiently input and maintain payroll information.
- Assist in the supervision and management of the payroll service.
- Process weekly contractor payroll and oversee staffing changes.
- Manage expense claims and conduct reconciliations.
- Provide guidance and training to Payroll Assistants.
- Handle HMRC forms and offer payroll-related advice to employees.
- Prepare information for external agencies as necessary.
- Maintain and update files as required.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Prior experience in a payroll or finance role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong numeracy skills for accurate calculations.
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and adapt to changes.
- Capacity to extract and convey information accurately.
