The Enablement and Support Directorate is made up of the following services: Community Services, Adult Short Breaks, Kent Enablement at Home, Enablement Services, Older Persons Short Stay Services, Short Term Pathways Team and Occupational Therapy Team and is part of the Adult Social Care and Health directorate.
As a Business Support Coordinator for Enablement and Support Services you will be responsible for providing support to teams and Senior Managers across the directorate, providing telephone and face to face support to our staff that work in the community, undertaking timely accurate recording on multiple different bespoke systems. You will be part of a team that works collaboratively with internal and external partners and focuses on promoting a person’s independence.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
- A Flexible approach, with the ability to embrace change and support new ways of working
- Brilliant interpersonal skills and experience of working with people and challenging situations
- Knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems
- Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to their own development
- An empathetic caring approach, with the ability to remain emotionally resilient
- The ability to travel across the county visiting various KCC and partnership office locations
