In today’s dynamic, fast-paced world of B2B, we understand that business decision makers are the individuals that engage with stories, respond to content and make the buying decisions. So, it goes without saying that creating engaging, authentic and ‘human’ design is an integral part of the Rooster Punk way of life. So, it is with our pleasure that we would like to announce this exciting opportunity for an emerging designer to join the team to help bring our brands and stories to life.

As a Junior Designer you’ll be well versed in the adobe creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) and have a passion for creating, clever, inspiring and often-cool-but-mostly-damn-right-awesome-design. It’s not all expected up front We have created this position for an individual who has an eagerness to learn and is looking to develop their existing skills by working with our senior creative team on a range of ambitious and innovative projects. We’re looking for someone with a ‘let’s do this’ attitude but with a little ‘I’m not afraid to do something different’ sprinkled on top.

Working closely with the creative team your responsibilities as a Junior Designer include; understanding the client’s brief, generating appropriate creative ideas and using a professional approach to secure the proper outcomes of design briefs. You should be open to learning and absorbing the creativity happening around you and feel excited by the idea of participating in and driving Rooster Punk’s creative culture. This could be anything from ‘a whacky film you found on Netflix this one time’ right through to a fully-fledged creative campaign for some of B2B’s best-known brands

Responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of campaigns and content, an understanding of typography and spatial layouts are a must, and a basic understanding of animation and video techniques would be valued greatly. Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends is also key when looking to grow within the role.

As a Junior Designer you will have creative flair, be able to think outside the box and produce consistently good quality work. It’s not just about keeping our clients happy (but that’s top of our list) - it’s also about making sure we are consistently delivering the type and standard of work that is right for what we believe at Rooster Punk.

**Day to Day Role and Responsibilities**

- Working on design projects, from conception to delivery
- Crafting and finessing designs for delivery; including social, web and video assets such as logos, banners, ads and images etc.
- Working closely with the creative team and listening to feedback to develop skills and improve design
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
- Collaborating with Client Services team to ensure deadlines are met
- Being passionate about design and stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

**Skills and attributes needed**
- Passion and creativity that runs through your veins
- Extensive background in design is an absolute necessity and understanding of design techniques such as page layout, typography etc.
- Self-starter, efficient time management and strong problem-solving skills
- Well versed in Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc)
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and deliver
- Eager to learn and develop a career in design and able to take on board feedback and work as part of a bigger team
- Aligns with the Rooster Punk’s beliefs, processes and ways of thinking

**Personal qualities required**
