- 4630_1710862100- We have a fabulous opportunity for a Junior Designer to join an established, successful, and trend-driven supplier to the UK high street.

This role is to work on activewear, leisurewear, jersey tops and dresses, someone with a trend driven handwriting with strong CAD skills.

They are looking for a team player, someone who is hungry to progress in their design career with a passion for jersey product. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Designer to step up or a Junior Designer to grow into a Designer role, who can contribute their experience and knowledge to be part of an established team.

**Main Responsibilities will Include**:

- Designing and developing ladies activewear, leisurewear, jersey tops and dresses
- Supporting and working with the Design team on multiple accounts to design commercial, fashion-led jerseywear
- Research fashion trends, producing trend boards, catwalks, and sketches.
- Ability to translate initial ideas & concepts into commercial designs.
- Liaise with overseas factories and to produce detailed design sheets for sampling.
- Manage Sampling and Development of Critical Path.
- Weekly reports looking at the latest trends.

**Person Specifications**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience working across activewear, leisurewear, jersey tops and dresses
- Must have a strong commercial eye, and an ability to interpret trends.
- Excellent CAD and Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a pro-active approach.
- Strong organisation skills, and able to work to deadlines.
- Must be a team player with a willingness to take direction and eager to learn.
