Are you from a Logistics and or Transport background, holding a CPC qualification, looking to join a major FMCG manufacturer, within a highly autonomous role?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding business where you will have the chance to implement your own ideas, lead a team of skilled individuals and play your part in an ever growing business.

They are looking for a Logistics and Transport Manager to be based out of their site in Bromsgrove to oversee the logistics and transport side of the business.

This role would suit a Transport / Logistics Manager, who is looking to put their own mark on the team and operations.

**The Role**:

- Move materials, goods and products (including importing and exporting) to ensure that they are in the right place to meet customer demand.
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the safe receipt and efficient storage of goods
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained, including the inspection of vehicles at the appropriate time and the action taken to remedy defects found.
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
- Transport Manager CPC (essential)
- Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyse and manipulate technical and complex data and provide meaningful information
- Knowledge of lean techniques (preferred not essential)
