**The Role**
As a Senior Evaluation Lead, you lead the delivery of internal and external evaluation projects to assess the impact of work in the social care sector.
You will provide specialist evaluation design advice, including relevant metrics or indicators for assessing impact and clear success criteria, using a range of research methodologies.
Reviewing improvements across our evaluation services, you will examine your findings and assess effectiveness. You will build effective relationships with external partners in social care, attend events and produce content to communicate and promote the valueof our research.
**About You**
To be considered as a Senior Evaluation Lead, you will need:

- Experience of designing and delivering evaluation for either social care or social policy
- Experience of building formal partnerships with external stakeholders
- Experience of analysing and interpreting data for learning and evaluation
- Experience of managing projects and resources to deliver business objectives
- Knowledge of different models, tools and techniques for evaluating impact in social care
- An understanding of qualitative, quantitative and participatory research methods
- Knowledge of the Welsh policy context and how social services are funded and delivered
- A degree (or equivalent)
Ideally, you will have a post-graduate qualification (or equivalent) in social sciences with specific training in evaluation approaches and methods.
