Here at Peabody, we have several opportunities for the role of **Housing Support Worker (Bramble Court) **on a Permanent basis at our scheme in Witham, Bramble Court.

Bramble Court is part of Peabody's young person's service in Essex, a supported housing scheme for single homeless individuals aged 16-21 years, including care leavers, medium to high level support needs..
- The accommodation consists of 9 hostel rooms and 15 one bedroom self contained properties. The scheme is supervised 7 days, 24 hours per day._

Closest transport link is Witham train station, which is approximately 15-20 minute walk from the train station.

**A bit about the role**:
As a** Housing Support Worker (Bramble Court),** you will be working with a team of _highly motivated,_ _compassionate,_ and d_edicated colleagues_ supporting a caseload of _young customers._ You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their _goals_ and discuss their _progress._ And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to _help_ them access the _housing register_ or_ look for suitable rented accommodation._

Relevant experience would be an advantage, as would an understanding of safeguarding and knowledge of the benefit system. But just as important may well be skills and knowledge which you have in other areas which you can share like sport, music, games, gardening, or a love of film. All these things would make you a great addition to the Peabody Young People Essex's team
- This role will require an Enhanced DBS check._

Interviews will take place between week commencing the 18 and 25 March.
