If you do, this role is perfect for you Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Housing Support Worker on a permanent basis at our young people's supported housing scheme in Witham.

**A bit about the role**:
As a Housing Support Worker you will be supporting Young people aged between 16 and 21 years with tenancy sustainment, education, employment and healthy living. Some of the key results for the role include:

- To support and enable vulnerable people to sustain a tenancy living within the community through providing practical and emotional support to encourage tenants to take an active part in the community;
- Key working with individuals to empower them to build upon and develop their independent living skills, supporting them to move forward into independent living via a trauma informed approach;
- Ensure that the tenants needs are met by liaising with other organisations providing access to community-based services and resources;
- To take an active part in tenant involvement, liaising with relevant groups and participating in relevant training and updates.

**_This role will require an Enhanced DBS check._**
