Harbour Healthcare are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator in Stockport SK4. Harbour Healthcare set high standards for resident care, and being an activities coordinator will mean that you are joining a team that put residents care and comfort before everything else. Above all, they work as a team to ensure that all in their care receive a ‘first class’ service.

**Job Overview.**
- To develop and plan programs, outings and events, staffing the events, and overseeing the implementation of activities.
- Ensure the programme reflects the current population of the services’ wishes and preferences
- To support and enable Service Users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget

**Duties**
- Organise and pan activity programs refecting Service User’s preferences
- Produce newsletter to inform Service Users and their relative/friends what’s going on
- Support Service Users to access internet and communication such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime
- Pan events within the allocated budget
- Ensure Service Users are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time-to-time to maintain and progress knowledge
