**Customer Service Advisor - Days/Evenings**

As a food-service specialist we offer the highest quality of products and services on the market today. We supply over 700 customers with over 10000 products throughout Cumbria, Northwest England and Southwest Scotland. Due to the fact that we are a fast growing company, we are expanding the team and opening new opportunities in the company and searching for a Customer Service Advisor with experience in a busy sales environment to join our Customer Service Team in Embleton.

**About the Role**

You’ll be responsible for:

- Responsible for **first in class customer service**:

- answering incoming calls as well as making outbound sales calls.
- Maintenance of customer and pricing records.
- Ensuring customers are always informed of our new product offerings and current promotions.
- Serving our customers with professionalism and excellence - you will manage a daily call list - calling our customers at the right time and taking their order with accuracy.
- Telesales representatives must be motivated and determined with a target driven mentality as you will be required to hit sales, meet weekly targets and upsell using your knowledge of current Caterite products and new lines.

Experience in working within the busy sales office is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the amount of calls received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

**About You**

A skilled customer service and sales professional, you'll thrive on beating sales targets - but you'll always make sure that the customer's interests come first. You understand the customer's perspective and have a natural ability to build a strong rapport and demonstrate empathy when needed. You'll be a confident multi-tasker who can be resilient and show a great team spirit Experience working in a targeted sales or customer service workplace would be beneficial, but not essential as training on all aspects of the role is provided. You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You’ll have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You’ll deliver high standards, working accurately and efficiently. You care about delivering goods to customers ‘on time in full’ as ensuring customers have the right stock at the right time means our products are always available for our customers.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to recognise confidentiality and act in a professional manner.
- Have a polite, pleasant and helpful telephone manner.
- Good I.T. and administrative skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Have a passion to sell with excellent customer service skills.
- Enjoy being a part of a large growing team.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Previous sales and upselling experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
