Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Domestic and Laundry Assistant to join our team at Clifton Manor Residential Home.

Clifton Manor Residential Home provides support to older people and people living with dementia. The care home is based in Clifton, Nottingham, NG11 - Please consider the travel time to the area, including on weekends, prior to applying.

**Hours**:24 hours per week.

**Shift times**: 07:00-13:00 and 09:00-15:00. We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is in line with National Minimum Wage.

As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Adhere to the home’s cleaning schedules
- Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
- Manage cleaning supplies and notify the Home Manager or appropriate person when new supplies are required
- Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
- Adhere to health and safety, and infection control policies and ensure cleaning is in line with recommendations. Adhere to the Care Centre’s disposal of waste and COSHH policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of linen, towels, and Clients’ personal clothing
- Ensure the laundry room and equipment remains clean and tidy. This will include washers, dryers, laundry bags, lint trays, vents and floors.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour
