**At The Loftman Company (TLMC) we're expanding our installation team Nationally**

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the longest established companies and leading loft specialist in the U.K. We install loft hatches, ladders, boarding, flooring, insulation, Velux windows and other products priding ourselves on the professionalism and standards of our work.

Our aim is to make it easy for our customers to make use of their loft space for storage. Whether in a new build or older home we provide innovative storage solutions backed with our lifetime company guarantee. We do this by installing patented raised award-winning floor systems.

We are looking for talented joiners/ carpenters / handyman to help us provide great solutions for our customers. You will be helping us to deliver a great experience from start to finish by fitting our range of products into the customers’ homes.

We've had 10 years of hard work getting our solutions right. You will be among the first to help us grow our installation teams across the UK. You'll work closely with the Director and his management team as well as the sales surveyors and other installation teams.

As a Head Loft Fitter your responsibilities will be to work on your own or alongside an assistant fitter who we will be able to help source.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work directly with the Head Fitter, proactively contributing to the daily workload
- Feedback to the Head fitter and Management of the business
- Help problem solve on any issues that arise on installations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Be willing to install loft boarding, loft ladders, loft hatches, loft insulation and learn new skills.
- Be willing to progress with the business.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

**What we're looking for**:

- Experience working in joinery, carpentry or handyman role with any relevant qualifications.
- Ideally has their own vehicle
- Passionate and driven to excel in all areas.
- Happy to work remotely with the head fitter covering up to 1 hrs from base
- Excellent attention to detail
- Loves going the extra mile to deliver outstanding results.
- Believes in and practices self-improvement and learning new skills
- Keen and able to learn
- Love figuring out how things work
- Communicates clearly, in a friendly way.

**Benefits**:

- Flexible Working. You'll need some set hours in which to start the jobs each day, but we are flexible on finish times, if the jobs are all complete you can go and enjoy your family and hobbies. Many of our lads are finished by 2pm most days from a 7am start.
