**Do you have**:

- Certified membership of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and/or other certification or qualification as a risk professional and/or significant experience of delivering risk management services in a complex organisation
- Experience of regulatory, cultural, and operational challenges and opportunities facing the housing sector, or another regulated sector
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and ethical standards related to risk and fraud in large and complex organisations.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), leadership, and interpersonal skills, and ability to provide challenge and support to colleagues at all level.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A passion to use your intellectual skills and business acumen for a social purpose

**As Group Head of Risk & Assurance, you will be required to**:

- Enhance, own, and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management program that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks (both individually and collectively) across the Group.
- Maintain and enhance an effective risk governance framework.
- Drive regular risk assessments across the group to ensure horizon scanning and to identify potential areas of increased or new vulnerability and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Nurture the development of a risk focused culture across the Group, recognizing and embracing the opportunities that effective risk management can bring.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, regulators, and industry associations to stay up-to-date on relevant regulatory developments and industry best practices.
- Manage the externally resourced internal audit team and budget to ensure an effective and timely delivery of the annual internal audit plan, and an internal audit programme that covers the key risks of the Group over a 3 year cycle
- Drive the timely completion of internal audit actions and promptly escalate where any issues are not being appropriately resolved
- This role will require a minimum of two_ _days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office._
