**Regional Account Manager - Southwest**

**What’s on offer**:
- £40,000 - £50,000
- OTE £10k in first year

- Working for a well-established organisation with a strong reputation in the sectors for manufacturing of trailers. Now acting as one of the leading independent manufacturers of trailers, parts and towed equipment
- Extensive additional business and team support to assist with the company’s remote working model - extensive onboarding roadmap for getting up to speed within the first 6-12 months of employment, weekly Teams catch up, monthly meetings, monthly sales dayto share best practice, “lunch club” being one example of the sales initiatives currently on offer
- Family run culture that also adopts a process driven method - small enough to care but big enough to cope
- Modern day approach to employee-engagement and extends into all avenues of the operation and specifically how the business regards, treats and recognises its employees. This can be seen from the long tenures across the business, and the low turnover rateof employees
**What’s involved in the role**:
- Plan and carry out field sales visits to customers and prospective customers in accordance with portfolio plan/account management and new business targets
- Manage existing customer database and growth within those accounts
- Pre-planning face-to-face visits using information from the CRM system, to achieve best result
- Promoting specific products when face-to-face to achieve “on the spot” sales
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers including follow up after sales
- Prepare and demonstrate planning for your portfolio
- Maintaining updates on CRM system with all customer contact, planning and setting forward calls and visits, and meticulously updating customer/prospect details as required
- Secure enquiries from customers and prospective customers and using internal sales support to process as necessary
- Following up on enquiries where necessary and negotiating to secure orders from new and existing customers. Displaying full ownership at all times for the portfolio performance
- Monitor and report on market activity, trends and feedback suggestions for product development
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Take part in company training programs to improve sales techniques and product knowledge
**What you will need**:
- Conduct meetings and presentations efficiently
- Have strong technical knowledge of the industry
- Experience in Heavy Plant/Plant Hire industry - desired
- Ability to build effective relationships
- Achieve targets and meet deadlines, results driven
- Continuous generation of new leads
- Demonstrate commercial awareness
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Remain professional, confident and focused at all times
- Display resilience whilst conducting duties
- Communicate effectively
- Able to work with financial reports and statistics
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Expert in negotiating capabilities
- Good IT, budget and report writing skills
- Full driving licence is essential
