As an Apprentice Machinist, you will become a part of the Cementation Skanska team, where our mission is to prepare you for a successful and rewarding career

Alongside our experienced engineers and construction professionals, and with the appropriate support and guidance, you will:

- Develop skills and competence in manufacturing processes, and machinery including lathes, Milling machines and CNC equipment, from drawing to completion
- Deal with ancillary plant items from a manufacturing and repair perspective
- Promote new ideas concerning engineering / manufacturing innovations and the development of appropriate engineering solution
- Operation of tooling and equipment involved in the engineering and manufacturing process

**What qualification will you be studying towards?**

Level 3 Machining Technician qualification through The University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre

**What will we need from you?**
- 5 GCSEs at Grades 5-9 including Maths and English or an equivalent for us to successfully enrol you on the apprenticeship
- You will enjoy working with other people
- Enthusiasm to learn
- New ideas to help us innovate and work better
