**Reporting to: Head of Commercial**

As Stock and Material Planner, you will be responsible for determining the required materials using the product drawings and material lists. You will be working with the main key stakeholders within the business to procure raw and finished components, for our balcony systems. Generating purchase orders and works orders, based on the project scheduling of the balcony and balustrade systems.

You will be working closely with the Project Managers, Fabrication Planning Manager and Assembly Planning Manager, ensuring that all the components (raw materials, inhouse production and purchase components) are delivered/produced on time.

**Responsibilities**
- Overall responsibility for raising and completing purchase and works orders of the balcony components.
- Working with the planning managers on the scheduling of the fabrication and assembly works, ensuring that the components are delivered on time. Collaboration with the project, fabrication and assembly teams are key.
- Managing the item management on NetSuite, from inventory items to Assembly items and BOM’s.
- Working with the Design team on the fabrication and assembly packs, to create BOM’s, works orders and outsourced purchase orders on NetSuite.
- Calculating the most effective components to use on fabrication, based on the most efficient yield.
- Issuing purchase orders to the supply chain, working with logistics and warehouse team for incoming/outgoing goods schedules.
- Liaising with the Head of Production Operations and agreeing on in-house procedures, standards, controls, and specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Two years’ experience within the construction industry, manufacturing, or suitable professional qualification.
- Ability to read component and model drawings.
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially aware.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure

**Computer systems**
- Microsoft 365 package (Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Windows-based system/drives
- Oracle NetSuite

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
