Weighbridge Operator

SL Recycling are offering a highly competitive weekly wage with over time available.

**Main Duties**:

- Direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge.
- Ensuring all vehicles entering and exiting site have the correct and necessary paperwork.
- Check incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site rules.
- Ensure each exiting load matches the associated paperwork and record the weight of each vehicle accurately.
- Process delivery notes and tickets accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all visitors to site are aware of our site rules and Health and Safety rules and distribute information and guidance accordingly.
- Ensure to maintain a high level of good customer service.
- Assist with general, operational and maintenance administrative duties when required.

**Essential Criteria**:

- A minimum of 1 year’s administration experience.
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office packages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Possess strong attention to detail, able to work accurately and quickly.
- Proactive with strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
