**The Opportunity**

As a EPR Operations Technician Instructor, you will facilitate the growth of knowledge for both Nuclear New Build and generation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). The primary responsibilities once qualified, will be to support the Operations Training team and lead the development and delivery of EPR Operations Technician training programmes.

**What you’ll be doing**
- The development and delivery of Operations Technician related initial and continuing training material.
- Support training in classroom and plant simulator environments, as well as providing coaching and mentoring of trainees to expedite learning.
- Act as course coordinator for responsible training areas.
- Ensure company values, safety and OpEx are embedded throughout the training, training material and lesson plans.
- Communicate with line managers for the successful development of competence within their staff.
- Maintain relationships with both generation and EPR stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) for development of material.
- Communicate with external contractors if required to provide training support services.
- Fully contribute to the business plan of the NSA to support achievement of our company organisational goals.

**Who you are**
- Holder of a recognised teaching/training qualification, desirable.
- Experience of working in the field of Power Generation however relevant experience in other related industries would be considered.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good interpersonal effectiveness with strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a team.
- Ability to identify, analyse and solve technical problems.
- Knowledge of modern learning methods, media and experience of bringing these to bear in the development and delivery of training.
- Experience in customer and stakeholder relations
- Knowledge of training processes and vision training tool, desirable
- A good understanding of the key aspects of nuclear power plant systems and operation, desirable
