**THE ROLE**

**Software Delivery**:

- Pre-series and Series engine software ODX planning and releasing o
- Planning in correspondence with BiL timing
- Managing the Powertrain42 (PT42) workflow, liaising with Calibration teams and software ODX supplier
- Validation of ODX files and organising of BMG in PT42 with all necessary stakeholders (EM/C,
- EM/E, IAV, BEG)
- Managing System42 to ensure timely delivery of encrypted engine Software files to Production teams
- Attendance at approval meetings, iCCB

**Vehicle Management**
- Planning of vehicle usage and retention of vehicles in line with planned activities Raising of Vehicle Request Forms (VRFs)
- Planning updates and maintenance in line with BiL and testing/validation requirements
- ZDC (Zieldatencontainer) creation and testing - in line with vehicle specifications and PR numbers
- Part number / BoM management - Aekos, B-release, permits, drawing updates, K-release, BMG
- Overseeing of sensors and actuators changes and requirements, sign off - FMET, schaltplan, supporting other departments
- Liaising with Porsche platform colleagues for information on open software, calibration, sensor and actuator topics
- New engine PST / base software commissioning for first-off calibration merges, working closely with EM/C and project Calibration Pilot
- Acting as a point of contact to support Calibration teams and other departments with information and guidance on flashing, coding and UN-ECE associated changes
- Creation, on-going management (updating) and completion of appropriate ePVR (Product Validation Report) tests.
- Participating in Project-status meetings, informing EM/E Management if support or escalation is required
- Liaison with Production Planning (PPX) when required to support Production-processLiaison with ET when required to align certification plans
- Coordinating functional safety checks with the responsible departments

**Calibration**:

- Supporting calibration Milestone meetings and tailoring requirements for below work packages and 263 labels (Coding, powerclass, Verlassenskonzept, crash reaction, ECU config) o WP4.8 Crashabschaltung Airbag o WP4.15.4 Betriebsstrategie / VerlassenskonzeptWP7.6.4 Systemkonfiguration / Variantcodierung o WP7.7.1 Diebstahlschutz / Wegfahrsperre P-Klassen
- WP7.7.2 Diebstahlschutz / Wegfahrsperre Funktionen und Diagnosen
- Monitoring progress of ongoing safety monitoring calibration and requirements for WP8 and liaison with the corresponding calibration engineer

**Skills required**
- An Electrical / Electronic or Control Systems Engineering degree (or equivalent / related)
- Demonstratable experience of networks /diagnostics / integration with specific feature / function ownership and delivery
- Automotive systems integration experience including Body Electronics, ADAS sensors, and / or Powertrain
- Familiarity with Bosch ECM a plus
- Usage of Vector tool-chain required.
- Any experience with INCA and / or additional calibration tools would be a plu**s.**
