Trainee Technical Hand - School leaver opportunity but open to all ages.

The Company operates a team of technical support staff with a broad trade skills base, delivering technical support and maintenance services to residential property and company fixed infrastructure across the Chelsea area. The trainee will be exposed to a range of different trades and skills, from general yard assistance, to elements of watermanship, to plumbing, welding and carpentry. Ultimately, with a view to undertaking a sponsored apprenticeship.

The central-London-based Company location includes workshops, stores, offices and a reception facility.

The role delivers support to a standing team of mixed trades which, combined, provides property maintenance, repair and some building services to the lead Group company.

The successful applicant must be enthusiastic about learning new skills, keen to work hard, often out doors, be interested in possibly entering a formal apprenticeship.

Pay rate: £8.00 - £10.00 per hour during the training phase. Advancement depending upon progress and developing skills and utility. 42.5 hour week as standard.

Schedule:

- Five days per week (Monday - Friday) with one weekend duty (one hour attendance on either a Saturday or Sunday) once in every four weekends.
- Opportunities to join the Night Watch rota (voluntary - not essential or required) as a means of additional hours (5pm - midnight) if interested.

Supplemental pay types:

- Opportunity to join the Night Watchman rota (voluntary) (5pm - midnight) for additional hours and pay.

Ability to commute to: London, SW10 0DG:

Licence/Certification:

- Driving License (not essential).
