Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant on a part time basis for approximately 3-4 days per week.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Accountant and Finance Director with all financial aspects of the business including cash, stock, sales ledger and providing financial reports.

**Key tasks and main responsibilities**:

- Take accountability for the processing of Sales Invoices on a daily basis.
- Update and issue the sales graph on a weekly basis.
- Credit control procedures, ensuring debts paid in a timely manner.
- Send out monthly statements.
- Operate all the cash and banking procedures as required.
- Assist with stock processing and control procedures.
- Undertake other duties as required by the business.
- Comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations.

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience in a similar accounts role.
- Minimum of 5 National 5 qualifications or equivalent.
- Experience with Sage accounting packages and advanced excel ability.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a face paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise effectively. Good organisational skills with good time management.
- Experience of working to deadlines / timetables.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and learning new skills.
