RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a leading independent firm based in Munlochy, a few miles north of Inverness, in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. We offer a comprehensive solution to all your accountancy and taxation needs.

Our company is looking for an Accountant to work full-time hours - flexible working patterns or hybrid working models will be considered, on a 3 day in the office/2 day at home schedule.

As a team we are friendly and welcoming, we have a wide range of clients (compliance and advisory) both locally and regionally, and we offer excellent opportunities for career advancement.

**About You**
- Self-starter with a pro-active approach and can-do attitude
- Capable of delivering high-quality output with mínimal direction
- An individual with excellent technical skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and with clients
- Commercial understanding of pricing jobs and working within time and fee budgets
- Good time management and experience in dealing with conflicting deadlines
- Qualifications relevant to the field are desired, but not required

**Responsibilities**
- Preparation of management and statutory accounts
- Preparation and review of tax returns
- Review of work prepared by others
- VAT return review and assistance with client queries
- Research and contribution to complex advisory topics
- Managing multiple client accounts and deliverables
- Regular collaboration with the senior management team
- Client meetings
