Job Description:
Venator is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Buyer, based at Wynyard who will lead the sourcing activity for Raw Materials for the assigned categories across all EAME, APAC sites and will be the key contact person for their allocated site(s).

Job responsibilities include:
- Develop purchasing strategy for allocated categories based on solid knowledge of the markets (suppliers, trends, benchmarks, total cost of ownership (TCO); source new suppliers and materials; identify and select the best partners for Venator; lead implementation in cooperation with sites; manage supplier relationships through meetings, site visits and defined key performance indicators (KPI’s) etc.- Tender, negotiate and implement price agreements and contracts; cooperate with legal department on contract reviews when required and process contracts in Venator contract’s database.- Comply with Venator’s policies and procedures, EHS standards, SoX and relevant regulations and the law; Cooperate with other Senior Buyers / Buyers to develop and ensure Best Practice in Purchasing.- Provide Operational Purchasing with information to raise orders, outline agreements, and maintain purchasing data in the system. Ensure accuracy of master data.- Comply with and develop Venator’s sustainable procurement process and procedures to help drive forward Venator’s sustainability vision.- Degree qualified, or significant experience in a purchasing (specifically negotiations) or commercial environment, ideally within a supply chain or related function- Fluent in English and German would be desirable.- Team player with strong communication skills and a result driven attitude- High level of proficiency in excel and data management.
