We're expanding our Brand Communications team as part of Admiral's continued success and ambitious growth plans for the UK's unsurance and personal finance markets.

It’s an exciting time to join the team responsible for developing, producing and implementing Social Media and consumer PR activities for our products and brands.

You will work cross functionally with marketing, product and creative teams, as well as business stakeholders, agencies, and other partners to help deliver the Social Media and PR strategy for our business. This will involve running multiple campaigns and projects at once.

The role holder will provide a first-class communications service and should be comfortable dealing with external stakeholders, agencies, journalists and internal colleagues at every level in the organisation.

Main Duties
- Support PR and Social Media leads by researching, planning and delivering engaging campaigns that protect and enhance our brand reputation across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver integrated campaigns which work effectively across all communication channels and support our business objectives.
- Work with the Brand Comms Team to identify creative ways to engage and inform our customers, briefing creative teams and agencies to bring ideas to life.
- Monitor trends and identify online engagement opportunities or potential risks to our reputation online.
- Support the PR and Social Media Managers (TBC) by implementing our Admiral UK consumer brand building strategy.
- Deliver media relations campaigns which support business objectives whilst building brand recognition and boosting consideration.
- Drive activity across our consumer social media channels (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and Instagram) as well as providing support for marketing-wide campaigns.
- Run paid social media campaigns through Facebook Ads Manager, monitoring and reporting campaign success using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch and Google Analytics.
- Work with the social media customer services team to respond to customers and build our online community.
- Deliver projects from concepts to final output within tight deadlines, ensuring that regulatory processes are followed and the relevant approvals are in place.
- Work with our external PR agency to research and write engaging, consumer interest stories to generate positive coverage in key media.
- Respond to inbound media queries, working with relevant internal stakeholders to provide responses to ensure the best outcome for Admiral.
- Provide support to managers during crisis situations and brand reputational risk events.
- Monitor, review and report on the success of our activities against key competitors to continuously improve on delivery against targets.
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring all content is on brand and in line with digital tone of voice guidelines to maintain a consistent and relevant user experience across each channel.
- Complete regular company-wide internal training as well as any external training relating to the role.

Skills and Experience Required
- PR experience (preferably Financial Services) and knowledge of the media landscape
- Experience managing business social media channels and tools such as Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads. Manager, Brandwatch and Falcon.
- Be a creative thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the ability to work independently, but also closely with a team
- An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Be highly organised, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites.
- Use of Jira or similar project management tool an advantage.
