We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, caring and energetic **Seasonal Activity Leader** to play an integral part in the success of our Holiday programme for our junior guests.

The on target earning potential for this role is £12.53 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £10.80, plus a qualified estimate of £1.73 per hour in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

This is a flexi opportunity, Saturday 1st July - Saturday 2nd September. With a working pattern of 8:30am - 12:30pm, 5 days a week (Wednesday and Sundays off days). There will likely be opportunities to increase your hours during the summer though involvement in other areas of Club Leisure. Required training will be provided by our Children's Activity and Learning Manager.

Location; Auchterarder, just off the A9. Gleneagles is also within easy reach of a number of Scottish towns and cities: Edinburgh City Centre (1hr), Glasgow or Dundee (50mins), Stirling and Perth (25mins).

**Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role**:

- Looking after our junior guests will be your number one priority; their safety and welfare is paramount, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun.
- You’ll be responsible for a set number of children in your care.
- Providing a warm and friendly welcome to all our guests and putting parents/guardians at ease to feel comfortable leaving their children in our care.
- You’ll create an inclusive environment for all children within your care so that each have a fantastic and memorable experience
- Collaborating with the Activity Instructors in leading groups of children through their scheduled activity programme with great communication with the Children’s Activity and Learning Manager
- You’ll build the skills to manage children’s behaviour in line with the Hotels behaviour management policy
- Requirement to take the lead on elements of the Activity Programme - full training provided
- You’ll provide feedback to parents/guardians at the end of each day, providing details on how their child interacted, what they enjoyed and what activities they took part in; providing great discussions for the full family over dinner
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

**The kind of person we're looking for**:

- You’ll have previous experience in a similar role; passionate about working with and leading groups of children both in indoor and outdoor settings
- You’re reliable and have a great eye for detail, ensuring that you deliver the best care you possibly can
- You have a flexible approach, able to adapt and succeed in a changing environment, think on your feet and have the ability to problem solve to meet the needs of the children
- You have excellent communication, motivation and collaboration skills
- Working with children can be exhausting, but your energy, positivity and patience are great skills of yours
- You’re honest, empathetic and put the children’s needs first at all times
- You have a good understanding of the stages of child development and the challenges that may arise
- You’re comfortable and confident working in a strong team centric environment
- It would be great if you had a qualification in a sporting field or childcare but this is not essential
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along
