Are you a people person? Who is (very) good at organising?

You will be a great communicator and a great planner with an eye for detail. You will design our activity plans for a month ahead, enthuse the home and community to be involved and share stories about life in the home.

**Responsibilities and Duties for the Activities Co-Ordinator role are**:

- Ensuring entertainment is organised on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
- Access to therapies for residents on a regular basis.
- Liaising with the residents and care team about activities that's residents can participate in.
- Organising and co-ordinating celebrations.

You should be enthusiastic, organise and creative to work as a member of our friendly team delivering high standards of activities to our residents. Good basis IT skills, outlook, word and excel.

Previous experience in the role would be an advantage, as although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be advantage.
- Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment.
- Level 2 qualification in health and social care of equivalent.
- Experience working with older adults and knowledge of aging issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour to provide support and counselling to residents.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents.
- Proficient computer skills for record keeping and program planning.
