**Role Description**

**Job Purpose**
To provide advice and support to Line Managers on people issues ensuring an efficient and professional HR service is consistently delivered to the site at all times and that all decisions taken are in line with agreed policies and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for all general day to day HR issues relating to the Wisbech site
- Provide assistance in order to meet the needs of current employees, prospective employees and Senior Managers in terms of reporting.**Principle Accountabilities**

**Employee Relations**
- To provide an effective advisory service for all HR processes - maternity, paternity, disciplinary, grievance, flexible working etc.
- To handle all employee relations cases or queries in an effective and timely manner.
- To support and provide advice in employee relation case management, seeking support from other HR team members as required.
- To ensure all Site specific and Company policies and processes are effectively maintained, updated and adhered to.
- To create, implement and maintain effective monitoring systems to drive reporting on ER Activity, Trends etc. and identify hotspot areas and recommendations to improve.

**Absence Management**
- To update and maintain absence reporting and tracker (daily, weekly, monthly) to provide accurate and timely information, in relation to short, long term absence, OH etc. Identifying and implementing improvement ideas for reporting.
- To provide advice and support with absence case management with Line Managers, including return to works, absence investigations, next steps etc.
- To manage OH support, including creating and maintain effective OH tracker, working with OH Administrator on managing appointments, supporting Line Manager in taking advice of OH forward, arranging and supporting OH Review meetings with employee.
- To create analysis on trends - causes, hotspots, areas, shifts, time of year etc. and feedback to HR BP and Area Managers.

**Recruitment**
- To ensure all recruitment and selection processes are conducted in line with best practice and agreed procedures and that “value for money” is achieved in terms of cost allocation.
- To source appropriate agencies, CV’s and to create a PSL for Wisbech site, with support of HRBP.
- To arrange interviews, send appropriate letters etc. for line managers.
- To support line managers in conducting and creating interview/selection process format.

**Administration**
- To administer and provide an effective administration service in relation to the Time and Attendance systems (Snowdrop and Logitime) and HR Processes (maternity, paternity, flexible working, disciplinary, grievance, starters, leavers etc.) and deal with any queries or actions required in a effective and timely manner.
- To ensure all Time and Attendance Systems, HR Processes and Trackers are effectively maintained and data integrity is accurate.
- Liaise closely and build relationships with Shared Services, Wisbech, Site Management team and other departments in relation to HR administration, policies and procedures.
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects as and when required
- Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably be requested by the HR Business Partner
- Cover of other team key activities as required ensuring continued service delivery during absences (i.e. holiday cover).

**Working hours**
Monday - Wednesday (8-5)
- This position may develop and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.**Role Requirements**
