**The Role**

As a Trainee Telecoms and Utilities Surveyor the main purpose of the job is to travel and be able to survey our clients PDA / PIA Networks. As mentioned, full training will be given so no experience necessary, however having a positive and professional attitude along with the ability to be proactive and think ahead would be beneficial. From day one you will become an integral part of our busy Telecoms team, no day is the same and you will have the opportunity to travel daily around the UK, working for some our key clients, whilst gaining accredited Telecoms qualifications towards your Career

Some of the tasks you will be training towards will include:

- Being able to perform Detailed PDA/PIA Verification surveys.
- Validating Chamber, poles, duct routes on site and identifying issues
- Updating software for the survey and making any required changes
- Completing Assessments of existing Chamber, pole and duct equipment

The Trainee Telecoms and Utilities Surveyor is a busy and diverse role that requires someone who isn’t afraid to take ownership of their work To be successful you must enjoy being busy, out and about in different locations daily plus working to tight deadlines. You will be provided with a company vehicle plus all the equipment you will need to carry out your duties along with the opportunity to work all over the UK and Northern Ireland.

Other key attributes include:

- Being able to work outdoors and not be phased by challenging environments such as bad weather conditions.
- Positive and flexible approach. Wiliness for daily travel and be able to stay away 5 nights a week
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop with a Geographical Information System (GIS).
- Exposure to software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer (Training will be provided)
- A driving license.
