**Job Title: Finance Assistant - Full/Part Time**

The Seventy Ninth Group is a rapidly growing asset management company, based in the UK, with partners in over twenty-six countries.

We’re seeking an outgoing and confident Finance Assistant to support the Finance Department.

**Purpose of the role**
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies.
- Tracking bank account balances.
- Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies.
- Preparing employee wages.
- Managing employee expense claims.
- Helping the Accountants with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts.
- Manage credit limits on company cards.
- Matching purchase invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Liaising with internal staff, and external suppliers.
- Managing departmental budgets
- Keep records of receipts for any credit card purchases to ensure the Accounts/Finance Department can record them quickly and efficiently.
- Raise invoices, credit notes, cheque requests, and purchase orders when necessary.
- Ensuring all company transactions are correctly processed and reported.
- Carrying out all reconciliations on a timely basis and report on any irregularities.
- Monitor costs from suppliers.
- Proactively querying any apparent overspending and help reduce general costs.

- Prepare suggested payments and process onto the banking system.
- Production of accurate and timely invoices and distribution to customers.

**Essential Skills Required**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Accounts (Administration)
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Computer literacy, familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Xero.

**Skills Required**:

- Good attention to detail.
- Mathematics skills for accurate record-keeping.
- Administrative skills for filing financial records.
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers, and other employees in the accounts department.
- Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms.
- You will be responsible for several duties related to managing financial records.

- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (Full Time)
- Part Time hours will be considered at interview stage

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
