Head Veterinary Receptionist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Veterinary Receptionist to join our team here at Briar Dawn Veterinary Centre in Oldham

This is a full-time position, working between 35-40 hours per week, covering Monday-Friday with 1:3 weekends (working 09.00 - 15.00).

As a Head Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same

**We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong leadership skills. Experience managing teams will be highly beneficial. Previous receptionist or customer-facing experience is essential.**

You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy in each situation you encounter, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.

The starting salary for this position will be from £24,000 depending on experience (pro rata).
