**The Role**

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.

As a Support Practitioner you will be supporting with day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication. As well as helping the people we support in their own homes, you’ll support them with attending activities and events out in their community, accompany them on outings and attending health appointments, and support them to maintain relationships with their friends and family. You’ll take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care and be supportive and encourage the people we support to express their wishes and views.

The people we support enjoy an active life including accessing the community, going to the cinema, go karting, ice skating, dining out and visiting museums. In their chill time they enjoy kicking back playing computer games, going on holiday and preparing home cooked meals.

As the people we support use their own mobility cars so, **it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence** to help them get out and about and do the things they enjoy.

**All we’ll need you to bring is;**
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
- Confidence in the use of computers
- Full UK driving licence
